Bianca Andreescu’s hasty outfit change worked wonders as she entered the second round of the US Open on Monday.
The 22-year-old Canadian star kept her dream of a second Grand Slam title alive with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 win over Harmony Tan at the 2019 US Open.
But the victory was not without drama as the beautiful Andreescu struggled to change her clothes.

The former world No. 4 appeared on court in a light blue dress, but with her dress billowing in the wind, she pleaded with the presiding judge for a change.
Andreescu was heard complaining: “It’s not my fault, it’s Nike’s fault, this outfit is so bad.” “I have to go. This is too bad.”
She quickly returned to the court in shorts and a white top and set out to navigate her way past Tan, who made headlines when she beat Serena Williams at Wimbledon in June.
After her win, Andreescu explained her outfit change. “It was bothering me on some of my forearms. I just felt it come on a little bit. The wind didn’t help,” she said.
She also begged the judge not to give her a bathroom break – he agreed and she said she didn’t intend to criticize the kit manufacturer Nike.
“It was great that he said he was completely fine,” she said. “I definitely could have used a different choice of words.
“So I apologize to anyone I disrespected. I love Nike and hope to be with them for the rest of my life.
