The Bulldogs’ Supermo Phil Gould says the club have five points left in the top 30 for the 2023 season, with $ 700,000 to $ 800,000 left.

The salary cap of the Canterbury-Bankstown club has already been in question, with a number of big signings, including William Kiek, Ryan Sutton and Reed Mahoni.

Meanwhile, first-team players Matt Burton, Josh Ado-Car, Max King and Tevita Pangai Jr. have reached Belmore for the 2022 season.

Gold has confirmed the club’s salary cap on Twitter, with several players set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Paul Von, Jeremy Marshall-King and Jack Heatherington have signed contracts elsewhere.

In a stunning response to Gold Tweed, former sharks, reeds and roosters half-back Todd Carney presented himself as a signature.

“Right now, we have five top 30 places to complete the 2023 season, at a cost of $ 700-800,000,” Gold wrote.

“Do you want a 36-year-old half-spouse?” He replied.

Carney is still playing in the Northern Rivers Rugby League, playing as captain of the Baron Bay Red Devils.
