Andreas Christensen hopes to announce his next club soon after leaving Chelsea.

Chelsea announced the release of Chrisson last week, with the defender being heavily linked with a move to Barርሳa.

Christensen joined Chelsea from Brondby in 2012 and played 161 games for the Blues after a loan spell at Borussia Monchegladbach during his time at Stamford Bridge, winning the Europa League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

The 26-year-old, who played the full 90 minutes of Denmark’s 2-0 win over Austria on Monday, hopes to announce his next destination sooner rather than later.

“I know where to play,” the defender told reporters.

Promptly announcing the future, he replied: “Unfortunately, it does not depend entirely on me. There are other things that need to fall into place.

“Hopefully soon. But I know what I’m going to do for a while. I’m just waiting for the right moment.”

Barcelona have been hit hard by financial problems in recent years, with La Liga president Javier Thebes insisting the club should sell expensive assets, such as Franሬንois de Jong, to rebuild any of their clubs.

However, Christensen Barርሳa, who has been linked with a move for current Barcelona center-backs Gerard Pique and Ronald Arajuo, says the club are interested in any player.

“It is one of the biggest clubs in Europe,” he added. “I think it’s for everyone.

It is one of the biggest clubs in the world for players who have problems or are in trouble.
