For the first time in 2022, all 18 AFL clubs were represented in the AFL Women’s Draft.

The four expansion teams – Sydney, Hawthorne, Port Adelaide and Essen – complete their list and make the first 13 choices in tonight’s draft.

Montana Ham, a strong midfielder compared to Patrick Cripps’ talented AFL ambassador Kevin Shihan, is expected to move to Swans first after being selected for the NSW Draft.

The AFLW draft is state-based, with players choosing which state they want to play in and only teams in those regions. In practice, five different drafts are being drafted.

Jasmine Fleming, the daughter of former Australian cricketer Damien, will be the first player to be included in the Victoria Draft – and joins the youth club Hawthorn.
