´I want to know what PSG´s project is´ – Kimpembe asks for clarity and defends previous comments

Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnell Kimpembe has asked the club to explain the “project” and its role ahead of contract negotiations.

The 26-year-old made his debut for PSG in the 2021-22 season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.

However, the French giants are reportedly in the market for a new center-back and are reportedly on the radar of Inter Milan.

Chelsea, led by former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, are reportedly interested in signing Kimpsimbe if they fail to sign French team-mate Julius Conde from Sevilla.

Earlier this month, Kimpembe described it as a “key moment” in his career and cast doubt on his future with two years to go.

Some realized it was a hint that he might be tempted to move, and on Sunday, Kimpembe reiterated the importance of knowing PSG’s vision for him.

Commenting on the French National League’s match against Croatia on Monday, Kimpembe said:

“I did not say anything bad. I arrived at the club when I was 9-10 years old. I think it makes sense to ask what the future project is and what role it will play in it.

But right now my focus is on the French team and. [Monday’s] Match to end this season well.
