Essendon will look to continue its late-season surge and keep its critics at bay with a win over North Melbourne on Sunday.

The Bombers (6-12, 86.5%) have shown encouraging signs in the second half of the season, but a loss to the bottom Kangaroos team will ratchet up the pressure once again.

North Melbourne (2-16, 54.7%) is level with West Coast in the winning category in 2022 as interim coach Leigh Adams remains in charge.
