Matthew Dellavedova signs for Sacramento Kings, news, contract, latest

Australian basketball star Matthew Dellavedova is back in the NBA.

The 31-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings last week after a successful run for the team in Vegas.

Australian Dellavedova, who spent last season in the NBL, will be reunited with Sacramento’s new head coach Mike Brown, who played in Cleveland – including winning the championship in 2016.

The Kings rely on depth at the point guard position, which means Dellavedova may be fighting for a spot on the bench, which is also reflected in the length of his contract.

Dellavedova played 447 regular season games in the league over eight years for the Cavaliers and Bucks.
