Medical staff face up to 25 years in jail for Diego Maradona’s death, how did he die, when did he die, latest, updates

Eight medical professionals have been charged with aggravated assault on Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona, the court announced on Thursday (AEST).

Two weeks after his discharge, he was found dead in a rented apartment in Buenos Aires.

He was pronounced dead of a heart attack.

A team of 20 medical professionals called by the Argentine public prosecutor concluded last year that Maradona’s treatment was “flawed and flawed.”
