Mitch Swapson takes his place in the Australian exams, and Travis’ fitness Glen Maxwell determines his shock return.

Swiss coach Andrew McDonald is set to bring in John Holland in a dispute over Spin vs. Wing Spin, with Swipson set to partner Nathan Lyon in his first test against Sri Lanka on Wednesday night.

“We’re talking about the direction of the ball and the value of accuracy with the wrist-spin, which can sometimes be a little accurate,” McDonald told reporters on Monday.

Ashton, who suffered a side injury, was in the running to replace Swifton. At least not until next week’s second test.
