Paddy Ryder Bradley Hill bar incident, St Kilda Saints, Mordialloc, dropped for Sydney game, what happened

St. Kilda stars Paddy Rider and Bradley Hill were dismissed last week in a dispute at a Melbourne-based bar.

The pair were said to be embroiled in a verbal dispute and the invaders intervened, but the club said the incident was not related to the defeat to Sydney or to the game.

The incident was first reported on SEN radio station in WA.

Rider was able to manage the game and Hill was left out for personal reasons, and the Saints felt their absence when they lost for the third consecutive defeat.

“St. Kilda said Confirmed for (journalist) Sam McLurry Paddy Rider and Bradley Hill were at the Mordialock Bar on Saturday, June 18, Craig Hachison said in a photo classy.

“There was a quarrel, the invaders intervened and left immediately.

“A third player was there but he played over the weekend.

“No player has been sent off or punished. Raider never played.

But veteran AFL journalist Caroline Wilson asked if there was a link.

“Paddy Rider was in charge and Brad Hill missed the game for personal reasons,” Futi said in a statement.

“And you just have to think that it has to do with what happened on Saturday night.”
