Rohan Browning falls, Australia men’s 4x100m relay, video, reaction, times, results

Rohan Browning has apologized after Australia failed to qualify for the men’s 4x100m final.

In an impressive finish, the women crossed the finish line by 0.01 seconds, but disaster struck for the men after Browning fell in the final transition.

The Australians were in the top three and were set to make it last before Browning crashed out.

“Disaster for Australians,” Bruce McAvaney said in his comments.

“I’ve never seen anything like it to be honest.”

Tamsin Lewis-Manu added: “That was horrible.

“He looks worried. Rohan could not do much of this training, he was focused on getting his body in shape. He really stumbled when he took the speed step.
