Ruidiaz leads as Sounders win against Whitecaps

Seattle Sounders beat Vancouver White Cup 4-0 on Tuesday to advance to the MLS playoffs.

In the first game of the MLS Cascadia Cup this season, the Sundowns took three points with goals from Raul Rudiaz, Nicolas Lodero and Alex Roldan.

A.D. In a competition with NASL in the 1970s, the Sundowns won their 18th MLS victory on Tuesday.

Before coming down to Cody Crowper, Ruddez was instrumental in scoring Seattle’s opening goal, breaking open and playing Freddy Montero. Lodiro converted a free kick.

In the 28th minute, Jimmy Midranda scored the first goal in the 54th minute with a quick touch. Alex Roldan scored the fourth goal in the 89th minute.

Brian Schmetzer’s side have won two of their last seven opening matches and won four of their last six Champions League trophies in May.

Seattle are currently seventh in the table with 19 points, 18 points ahead of third-placed Houston Dynamo, Minnesota United and Colorado Rapids.
