At the moment, the former England international has a big decision to make – join the Rabitohs coaching team or work as an assistant under Wayne Bennett in 2023.
But now Bourges is happy to help Axum return to Group 2 rugby league after two years.
In the 80-minute final, the winner was a seven-match unbeaten run in eight games in North South Wales.

We are doing well on the field. There are some great efforts from our players, we will hang in there. There is a little spirit in the place, which is good.
“I like the coach’s side. I am very happy. It’s great when you see people improving and when you see people change and when you start to see someone believing in themselves.
Berges will decide his future in the next two weeks, according to Rabbitohs powerbrokers, who are confident he will return to Redfield.
