Todd Bohley’s side won for the first time since agreeing to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich last week.

James is the second lead player to receive a straight red card in a series of games since being sacked by Luke Ealing at Arsenal.

“It’s careless, yes, he got the ball, but the stop catches the rest of the Kovacic,” said Graham Sows. Sky Sports.

“I mean, we see the Leeds United bench complaining about it. Yes, he got the ball but he got the player. This is a dangerous player and this is a red card.”

Kovacic tried to stay, but was eventually ruled out with a hamstring injury, leaving the Croatian midfielder in doubt in the FA Cup final.

Lukaku looked a little more dangerous than usual after scoring his first league goal against the Wolves in December.

James’ brilliant header went wide, but he found the back of the net early in the second half.

Chelsea were on the verge of killing Eliasich in the 55th minute.

Kevin De Bruyne scored four goals to help Manchester City win the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola’s side are three points clear of the Reds with seven points from two games.

City need just four points from their trip to West Ham and Aston Villa on the final day of the season to win their fourth title in five years.

And when De Bruyne is on this form, the Belgian will have to stand his ground and beat the hosts in 24 minutes to beat the hosts.
