Roosters NRLW skipper Isabelle Kelly is looking forward to taking to the field for the first time in a revamped venue as the reigning premiers look to defend their crown.

Kelly said: “This is an exciting time for everyone involved at the Roosters, and the honor of being the first team to play in the Roosters’ new home at Allianz Stadium is not something we take lightly.

“The Hens have been investing in the women’s program for a number of years and we appreciate the club’s efforts to make this happen.

“I know I speak for the entire NRLW team when I say thank you and we can’t wait to get to our new home tonight.”

Following a rugby league double-header, the Allianz Stadium hosts South Africa on September 3, while the Matidas play Canada in a friendly on September 6.
