Rotfield believes the club’s stars Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah will be part of the Shaines staff, as well as interim manager Brett Kimmore.

“I think the West Tigers will appoint Tim Shins as their coach next week,” Rothfield said.

“I think the framework is that they want the right people around Tim for the future and for his mentor to finally take over in two years.

“What does that framework look like, is there Brett Kimmore in the picture? Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah are such people?

“Yes, I think they are all and that’s where Justin Pascoe and Lee Hagipantelis and the West Tigers Board should decide.”

Meanwhile, NRL 360 host Braith Anasta, who has played 31 games for the Tiger, believes the three will form a strong alliance.

“It seems like a good balance for me – experience and former players who love the West Leopard and can learn one of the best,” he said.
