Wests Tigers, Mitchell Moses, Benji Marshall, Adam Doueihi, Luke Brooks, Jackson Hastings, 2023, roster, signings, Tim Sheens, Phil Gould, Bulldogs

Incoming Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has wasted no time in recruiting talent, with some of the club’s current stars expected to play under him.

In the year Marshall, who will replace Tim Sheens as Tigers coach in 2025, has approached Eels halfback Mitchell Moses about a return to Concord.

Sheens has handed the roster over to Marshall and the latter will have to decide who will stay between Adam Doehy, Luke Brooks and Jackson Hastings – all of whom want to play in the halves.

NRL 360 host Bryce Anasta asked the panel on Wednesday night which Marshall will try to sign first.

“He’s gone after Mitch Moses,” replied Paul Kent.

“Shanes has him on their roster and head coach right now, he’s giving him a good look because a good coach comes to a good recruit.

“Wayne Bennett has been the best trainer for years, the best trainer, that’s the secret. So the first step for Benji is to learn that taxi from the stairs, look at the details, know where you get value for money and where you don’t.

“The name of the Tigers that is connected to the Bulldogs is Jackson Hastings,” Read said.

If the Bulldogs say they love Jackson Hastings, I bet the Tigers will go ‘all yours.’
