Paul Kent Brett Kimmore, co-host of NRL360, has opposed the proposal to appoint a full-time Tigreans coach.
Panthers assistant coach Cameron Cialdo has resigned after making a profitable offer.
But Kent and the Daily Telegraph’s Paul Crawley criticized Kimmorlin’s long-term appointment as “unfair” to the new coach.

“This is not personal with Brett Kimmore, but he has no experience leading that club,” Crawley said on NRL360.
“A club that has had four coaches in ten years, you can’t put someone who has twice won a few balls as an assistant coach, not for many years. You can’t put him in this position.”
“I do not think he has done so much to take on the great task of raising tigers by giving due respect to Kimmorley, and if members are appointed, go down there with a fork, the board is stuck to the end,” Kent said.
“He has coached for years, the real good people he has received have had a lot of experience, not as much as his training should be,” said Crowley.
But Daily Telegraph reporter David Richieu believes one could be the key factor in the club’s decision – Tim Shins.

Shins has made it clear that he will not return to coaching as the club’s general manager before the 2022 season.
Despite a remarkable coaching record, Shins was hired to oversee football operations and manage the club’s details.
Riccio Sheens said he still thinks he has “itching to scratch” and could help a novice coach bloom in Concord.
“I think Kimmorley might be an opportunity. Why should I approach a difference if Tim Shins plays a more practical role,” Riccio said.
“He couldn’t do that with Michael Maguire, why, because he was an experienced coach.”
Kent said, “Shensey doesn’t want to train, Shinsie doesn’t want to train.
“I don’t agree with Kanty. I think he can work with someone like ‘Nodi’ to have a bigger role than Magi,” Riccio said.
Kent said, “Shensey said he was not here to train tigers, he did not return to coaching.
“If Kimmorley or another beginner with similar experience is appointed, Sheens will have to do a lot.

He is already more responsible than he signed, I like the way Sheensy gets on that board and he says everyone is just sitting there and not on us now.
“I think the goalposts have moved for the tigers since the Cyrillic situation,” said Riccio.
Meanwhile, Crowley made it clear that “they will mark my words, this will not be a success,” and Ricci had another idea: “It is said that they gave the Wolf a chance to work by comparing the situation of the tigers to that of the dolphins.” Under Wayne Bennett.
“It’s not fair to throw Brett Kimmore in that job,” Crowley said.
“They have to do the right thing with him. Tim Shins is a very good coach, but again he has a two-year contract and is not hired to be a coach.
“He’s the general manager of football.”
“We are asking Wayne Bennett to do the same with Christian Wolf,” Riccio said.
“Wine is doing something different. Shins has made it clear that he has not returned to coaching.
“I still think it has to be scratched. I’m not saying I’m a head coach, I’m not working with someone else in a role he can’t play with,” Riccio said.
